NEWS & EVENTS
Dear Colleagues and Clients,
Following the recent deaths of George Floyd and others, we have been overcome by the outpouring of grief, frustration, and anger throughout the country and around the world. It is deeply painful that these horrific events continue to occur. We must all acknowledge the systemic racism that Black people and others encounter, and listen attentively to their experiences in order to create understanding, support, and a new reality. Discrimination of any kind has no place at Winston Art Group, or in our interactions with our clients and professional colleagues. We do not tolerate any form of unlawful or unfair harassment or racism.
It is vitally important for everyone to step up and be active allies in achieving equality. Awareness must lead to dialogue, understanding, and change. It is a human right and a business imperative. In order to accomplish this, we encourage our employees to:
– Exercise their civil rights and obligations by voting
– Work in their communities to support those individuals and organizations that are working to change the culture of racism
– Engage in dialogue and listen to the views of others
In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, whom we would do well to remember: “Peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice.” It is the job of every single one of us to work for racial, social, and economic justice.
